Secretary General of the International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering (IFMBE), Professor Kang Pin Lin will visit Zagreb on 19 and 20 March 2017. During his visit, Professor Lin will have meetings with the President of Croatian Biomedical Engineering and Medical Physics Society, Professor Igor Lacković, the past president of CROBEMPS and the IFMBE Professor Ratko Magjarević, and senior representatives of the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing.
Kang-Ping Lin is Distinguished Professor of Electrical Engineering at Chung-Yuan Christian University, Taiwan. He is the Director of Technology Translation Center for Medical Device in his university (2011~now), and the Board member of Taiwanese Society of Molecular Imaging (2009~2015). His research interests include handheld medical devices, physiological signal processing, and medical image processing. He has also focused on integration of BME industry, academia and medicine. KP Lin is serving to the international community in the capacity of the Secretary General of the International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering (IFMBE) since 2015.
